Violet became a forever farm friend at Tiny Hooves in 2023 as a lamb. She was found as a stray in Milwaukee and through animal control, she came to us. Violet was sick upon arrival, but with proper vet care and nutrition, she is thriving! Violet is a big fan of fresh hay each morning and evening and she loves to talk loudly, letting us know she’s ready for food!

She has become BFF’s with special needs goat Dani, after not doing well in our main outdoor sheep herd. Dani is mostly blind, as was born with neurological issues. Violet has helped “be her eyes” and now they go on outdoor adventures right outside the barn. Dani in turn has helped Violet gain her own confidence. If they get too far away from each other, they call out to find the other and go back to grazing in each others company.
