Why give?
Our founder, board of directors, animal leads and volunteers all have one goal – we’re on a mission of compassion.
That means working hard every hour, every day, every month and all year long providing sanctuary to animals who don’t have a voice, sharing an educational message about the animal agriculture industry and ensuring each being in our care receives respect and the ability to live their natural lives out in peace – something farmed animals normally do not have the opportunity to do.
100% of your donations will go toward these ongoing efforts to change the lives of both animals and humans alike.

We just completed our 2025 Mission of Compassion Gala, and on the heels of its success we are extending our fundraising efforts with a stretch goal of $5,000. These additional dollars with be a huge help in completing some of our winter operational needs until Spring arrives.

We want to stay one step ahead of veterinary care for our senior animals, as well as emergency situations. These added dollars ensure we are prepared for the unexpected while being able to use funds already dedicated to feed our crew of residents, sanctuary land upkeep, enrichment opportunities for each species and maintenance medications.
For Example, in fall of 2023 just three animals were receiving regular medications. Today, as our population ages, we have over 20 animals receiving regular medications.
