Mazie
Mazie arrived at Tiny Hooves in 2020. She came from a loving home, that just wasn’t prepared for the size she had become. Mazie was originally purchased under the assumption that she was a mini cow. Mazie is half mini Hereford and Scottish Highland, and it seems she took the size of the Scottish Highlands instead of the mini! Though still significantly smaller than a full size cow, she is roughly 1,000 pounds, and likes to run and play and buck. Mazie wasn’t fitting in quite well with their herd, and she was also the only cow. Her people decided that the best decision all around was to rehome her to a sanctuary with other cows, where she would have the space and friends that she needed. Mazie took awhile to realize that she is, in fact, a cow, but she has settled in quite well. Snacks and cuddles are her love language! Some of her favorite snacks are carrots, apple slices, and pumpkins.
