Dora

Dora was brought to us as an emergency intake in August 2021 with a severely broken leg. She was at a goat dairy farm, and decided to take a leap of faith over the gate. That jump gave her a broken leg, and a VERY close call to death by shotgun. Luckily someone with a huge heart stepped in and was able to negotiate her surrender.

Dora required an extensive orthopedic surgery, but recovered with permanent metal in her leg.

Dora is a bright, sweet and loving little ball of sunshine! She loves anybody to sit with her and have a conversation or share a cuddle or two.

Dora joined her herd after recovering from her surgery and is doing fantastic! She can be a bit of a bully for food and attention, as she had so much dedicated care when she was first rescued. She loves all snacks, especially apple slices.
