Bowie
Bowie was born at the sanctuary to Pepper on February 25, 2016. He is a twin to his sister Freckles. Bowie is a macho man, romping around his pasture, trying to headbutt anyone and anything that comes near! As rough and tumble as he is, he is just as sweet and cuddly. He often falls asleep in our arms, and begs for hugs and kisses. He enjoys getting shoulder rubs from his human friends, snacking on the occasional green beans and carrot treats, and spending time with his mom and sister. These three have an unbreakable bond, and it is so wonderful to see a family of farm animals be allowed to stay with each other for their lifetimes, whereas in the production industry, babies are almost always removed immediately.
